Great Petaluma Mill
Historic Rehabilitation
Petaluma, CA
|
The Great Petaluma Mill is a 100-year-old 22,000-square-foot stone and brick
feed mill that has been converted into a variety of shops, a theatre and a
restaurant. The building consists of 18- and 24-inch-thick unreinforced walls
22 feet in height supporting wood roof trusses.
The setting for Petaluma's largest restaurant occupies part of a brick feed mill
built on the Petaluma River in 1854. Interactive Resources provided
architectural and structural engineering services for the entire complex. The
Petaluma Mill Annex burned in late 1984.
