Interactive Resources was retained to provide expert witness and consultation
services by attorneys representing the manufacturer of windows and doors
forming the curtain wall of this 14-story condominium in downtown Oakland. The
claim by the plaintiff homeowner association was for water intrusion damages.
Our architects performed water testing, diagnostics and repair design
recommendations. The case was settled out of court, and repairs were made
by the homeowner association without the involvement of Interactive
Resources. Later, when these repairs failed, Interactive Resources was
again retained by the homeowner association to participate in a follow-up
investigation by providing water testing services.
