Martinez City Hall
Needs Assessment and Master Plan
Martinez, CA
|
Interactive Resources was called upon by the City of Martinez to assess its
present and future City Hall needs. The structure, which was
originally built in 1916, was converted to the City Hall in 1955 and had
undergone repeated alterations. The brick veneer facade is supported by a wood
frame.
City staff and Department heads were interviewed, space needs projected, and
recommendations made for relocation of departments and building modifications.
Cost, functional efficiency, parking, historic significance, public
convenience, structural integrity, interior flexibility, future expansion and
staff disruption were all considerations in the report on the City's current
and projected need.
