Mathematics Building Diablo Valley College Pleasant Hill, CA

Interactive Resources provided comprehensive architectural design services for this new two-story building, which includes both classrooms and faculty offices. Design solutions included providing an elevator and accessible toilet rooms, maintaining circulation around the perimeter of the building to provide access to the doors of the adjacent buildings, and providing a two-story atrium to maximize natural sunlight into the building interior. Staff offices have glass sliding doors, and vertical blinds for privacy. Landscaped grounds enhance the building and provide several seating areas with protection from the wind and views of the lake.
