Building 6 Seismic Upgrade

Interactive Resources was engaged to perform a seismic upgrade on Building 6,
which currently houses dining facilities and a museum, on the College of San
Mateo campus. Structural engineers performed a seismic evaluation and
determined that the best way to reinforce the building was to add a mezzanine
floor.
The College plans to use the additional floor to centralize a variety of student
services currently scattered across the campus, such as financial aid,
counseling, and admissions and records. Interactive Resources has prepared a
Final Project Proposal and is currently awaiting a final decision from the San
Mateo Community College District.
