District Administration Building Remodel

San Mateo Community College District’s offices are housed in a two-story
structure with a half-basement. The first floor houses the administrative
offices; Interactive Resources worked with the District to re-design the space
to increase work area efficiency, relocate departments, and to increase
utilization of space.
The project called for the adjustment of department sizes to meet their present
and future needs, relocation of related department adjacent to each other to
ease communication, and re-design of individual work areas to increase
efficiency and ergonomic design.
Departments involved in the project included personnel, facilities, accounting,
business services, the assistant chancellor’s office, general services, and
student assistance.
