In conjunction with
Evan Terry Associates,
Interactive Resources surveyed 193 buildings, totaling nearly 4,800,000 square
feet on the Stanford University campus. Additional services performed included
the survey of more than 4 square miles of exterior paths of travel.
The work included the identification of all barriers, which were categorized by
specific location, use type, DOJ code, and severity. Possible solutions and
probable construction costs were assigned to each barrier. This information was
entered into a database, which was turned over to Stanford. The database has
the capability of querying barriers by any and all of the variables, which will
enable the University to prioritize and plan future barrier removal projects.
The database remains a working tool that can be edited and updated by the
University facilities staff.
