Interactive Resources was retained to investigate construction defects after
building residents noticed cracking in the fiber-cement panels.
Investigations revealed that the water, fire and seismic-resistant integrity of
the structure had been adversely affected. Interactive Resources
recommended the removal and replacement of all damaged plywood and gypsum
sheathing, the removal and reinstallation of all windows, and the installation
of a new cladding system. Interactive Resources prepared a repair design and
provided construction administration services for the repair construction.
