Sequoia Apartments Seismic Upgrade Redwood City, CA

Interactive Resources was retained by Prometheus to review and evaluate the building's seismic performance and provide seismic strenghtening of the building.

The limited voluntary seismic upgrade consisted of reinforcing existing ground floor transverse shear walls, reinforcing existing ground floor longitudinal shear wall below the upper shear walls, and adding a new steel moment frame at the tuck under parking for building A and adding a new steel moment frame at the tuck under parking for building B.
