Hercules Middle/High School Leak Investigation and Repair Hercules, CA

Interactive Resources conducted an investigation and designed repairs for chronic leaks that have mired parts of the five-year-old, $55 million school in winter flooding and mold infestations.

Our investigation showed a number of construction defects that resulted in water seeping through the walls, floors and windows of the administration and library buildings, and pooling in the textbook room. Rubber gaskets lining windows flopped out of their casings, letting rain stream in. Holes and cavities in the walls meant to drain water to the outside were inexplicably filled with mortar, forcing moisture into rooms.
