Interactive Resources was retained by Perpetual Power to provide structural engineering design services that included preparation of structural calculations as necessary to verify that the local framing of the existing structure can support the proposed array. The services also included preparation of structural calculations for the anchorage of the array(s) to the existing framing. Wind loads are in accordance with the provisions of ASCE 7 and as augmented by wind tunnel tests performed by SunLink. Seismic loads are in accordance with the provisions of the California Building Code (CBC). Interactive Resources prepared structural calculations for the anchorage of a ground mounted inverter(s) (not shown on available documents) and construction of a concrete pad. The two inverters are on separate pads. Services also included preparation of structural drawings showing the location and details of the anchorage requirements for the array(s) and inverter(s). A response was provided to Building Department comments and provided Construction Administration Services including one site visit, response to field questions, and a review of shop drawings.
