For the Lloyd D. George U.S. Courthouse in Las Vegas, Nevada, Interactive Resources designed the remodel for an area in the existing courthouse. This included two district courtrooms, jury deliberation rooms and a prisoner cellblock. The project included the complete interior design and construction of the courtrooms in accordance with the U.S. Courts Design Guide and design of the cellblock according to U.S. Marshals’ standards.
The scope of work included the removal of existing carpet tiles, demolition of existing suspended ceiling and existing partitions and doors, removal of existing MEP systems and the installation of new courtroom finishes, new doors, frames and door hardware, painting of all new existing partitions within the designated area, a new MEP and fire alarm system and the renovation of the existing elevator stop.
