Interactive Resources recently provided architectural design and engineering services for the Applied Arts building at Contra Costa Community College. The Applied Arts remodel included: first and second floor remodel of regular classrooms to “smart classrooms,” faculty offices and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) restroom remodels. In Addition, the improvements included complete FF&E (furniture, fixture and equipment), which includes office workstations, "smart classroom" and audio/visual equipment.
The “smart classrooms” are technology-enhanced classrooms that foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology, which includes, a smart console that houses state-of-the-art computers, projectors, response technology, networking and audio/visual equipment.
