Interactive Resources provides cutting-edge structural engineering services to evaluate existing structural elements that reinforces the ability of a roof top to support a solar array and to anchor the array to resist code-specified wind and seismic loads. We also provide a structurally innovative rigid and lightweight mounting system – under three pounds per square foot including modules, to support the panels on the existing structure.

When we formed in 1973, the energy crisis was in full swing. Interactive Resources quickly gained a reputation for energy-efficient design and alternative energy applications by responding to widespread panic of rapidly rising energy prices. We continue to have the passion and the need to be fully engaged in the solar photovoltaic field. We maintain LEED accredited professional staff in-house and are members of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Interactive Resources continues to provide solar photovoltaic services that benefit dozens of large and small projects – totaling more than five megawatts thus far. These projects are mainly in California and New Jersey because of substantial interest in energy conservation, attractive economic incentives, and overall environmental preservation.

We have worked with a number of contractors and integrators including Sun Edison, Blue Oak Energy, Borrego Solar Systems, Inc., Solar Development, Inc., Chevron Energy Solutions, Perpetual Power, SolarCraft, GenSelf, Bleyco Incorporated and Bass Electric. Module manufacturers include Kyocera, Sharp, BP Solar, SolarWorld, SunPower, and Sun Tech.
