He works on commercial, industrial, residential, educational, and institutional projects of all sizes as a designer, project manager, and project architect. In addition, he conducts detailed surveys in compliance with ADA and California Title 24 standards. He is also involved with space planning analysis, office landscape planning, forensic architecture, and building failure investigation/repair.
Mr. Butt constantly pushes himself as a professional. He continues to expand his expertise and keep Interactive Resources on the cutting edge. Currently he is working towards developing and implementing sustainable green solutions in compliance with LEED standards.
Model-Making and Computer Visualization ExpertiseMr. Butt can utilize a variety of 3D and 2D CAD programs including Form Z, 3D Studio Viz, Microstation, Autocad, Photoshop, and Revit. He is well versed with large-scale detailed architectural models and is capable of manipulating computer streetscape models and renderings. He created computer models and renderings for multiple projects at renowned northern California Wineries and completed 3D building design analysis for a 24,000 square foot industrial building.

On the personal side... In his free time, Andrew indulges in a host of interests including carpentry, furniture-making, sailing, mountain biking, fly-fishing, backpacking, rock climbing, home-brewing, volunteering for various "good causes" including restoration of East Brother Light Station, and tutoring 6th graders at a local elementary school. He has also been an active promoter and organizer of the Point Richmond Free Summer Concert Series. Andrew also enjoys hanging out with his wife, Kimberly and their two dogs, Bailey and Kaya.
