Contra Costa College’s Administration and Applied Arts Building is a two story, 55,000+ sf multi-use structure on the district’s main San Pablo campus. Interactive Resources was selected to provide architectural design and engineering services for its renovation, funded under Measure A. Our scope of work was comprehensive, from design development, creation of construction documents, and management of DSA approval, to bidding, construction management and close-out. The remodel included upgrading first and second floor classrooms to “smart classrooms,” technology-enhanced teaching spaces that integrate computers, projectors, response technology, networking and audio/visual equipment.

We also renovated faculty offices, performed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) restroom remodels, and oversaw complete furniture, fixture and equipment replacement, including office workstations and audio/visual equipment.
