# Benicia Main Post Office

Interactive Resources, Inc. provided comprehensive architectural and engineering services for the design of a new 14,000 sf main post office in Benicia, California. The post office supports a full range of postal service functions, including a box lobby, service lobby, self-service postal center workroom, loading zone, and carrier platforms.

Special consideration was given to develop a design to complement the architectural style of surrounding historic buildings. The design included brick walls with a standing seam metal roof. Features included T-shaped windows and a monumental arched entryway. Additional parking was integrated into the site design.

Our firm provided schematic design, construction documents and construction administration services for the new building.
