David McGillicuddy has 30 years of structural design, seismic evaluation and retrofit, construction management, forensic investigation, seismic risk assessment (PML), and commercial due diligence assessment experience. His project experience includes public infrastructure (schools, hospitals, airports, municipal) commercial, residential, water, wastewater systems and water storage structures, including four years of experience with design, rehabilitation, and project management of water/wastewater systems with the East Bay Municipal Utility District.
David has practiced structural engineering in the seismically active San Francisco Bay Area since 1984 and specializes in earthquake engineering. He has performed seismic evaluations of existing building structures in the seismically active regions of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington State, Utah, Arizona, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alaska, and Hawaii and has authored more than 700 seismic risk assessment (probable maximum loss) reports.
