The City of San Carlos, California needed to modernize and renovate their existing restrooms to help restore the facilities to a healthier state and integrate current accessibility code compliance and regulations. The restrooms were not in full compliance with the national ADA standards, building codes, water conservation regulations and energy-efficient goals. The Park is used for various recreational activities, festivals and concerts.
Interactive Resources was retained by the City of San Carlos to provide architectural and engineering services for the new restroom at Burton Park (North) and alterations to Burton (South) restroom. This project is part of the City of San Carlos Youth Center building remodel project that Interactive Resources provided design services for.
Our work includes demolition of existing restrooms, schematic design and construction documents for new pre-manufactured restrooms for Burton North and South, MEP upgrades, civil and structural work. ADA accessibility improvements and minor structural demolition and upgrades, site improvements and new landscaping was also included.
