Interactive Resources has specialized expertise in facility condition assessments, as well as in the investigation and repair of construction defects, water intrusion, and building failures, and the deterioration of building components (decks, roofs, windows and doors), building safety code compliance, building maintenance, and seismic risk analysis. Through our investigations, we trace the history of the problems, determine the cause, recommend solutions, and provide technical documents, reports, as well as schematic design, construction documents and cost estimates for the repairs.
As part of our architectural services and planning contract for Santa Clara County, Interactive Resources provided a comprehensive assessment of the building and various building systems for the County’s Juvenile Probation Office that includes Superior Court rooms and offices of the District Attorney and Public Defender. Completed in 1968, the total area of this reinforced concrete facility is approximately 55,000 sf distributed in four floors and a basement.
The assessment included architectural and structural evaluations; accessibility conditions; roofing; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; fire/life safety components and security systems. Findings and recommendations were presented in a written report along with cost estimates.
“Extremely Satisfied – Ed Anisman and his team did an excellent job. More important, he always exhibited care/concern that his team was providing expected services. We were fortunate on this project. Ed saw to it that no significant issues arose. It was a very clean project execution.”
–Rick Penska, Santa Clara County
