Interactive Resources, Inc. was retained by Cupertino Electric to provide structural engineering design services for the 23 kW roof-mounted solar array for the City of Sausalito. The solar arrays are located on the new emergency services buildings located at 333 Johnson Street in Sausalito, California.

Design services included reviewing the available “as-built” drawings and providing structural engineering services for the attachment of the array to the roof. We also provided structural calculations for the racking system, and prepared Construction Documents showing the method and location(s) of the array attachments, which included details of the racking system.

Racking for the solar array utilizes DPW|Solar Power Rail and ballast system.
