Davidson Middle School is a sixth- through eighth-grade school serving approximately 1,200 students, located in central San Rafael, California. The San Rafael City Schools district retained the services of Interactive Resources, Inc. to provide forensic architectural design services for roof replacement, flashing and waterproofing systems.

This project consists of preparation of construction drawings and specifications for the roofing replacement at Davidson Middle School. The scope of work includes the roof replacement for the 20s, 30s and Annex Classrooms, Band and Makerspace building’s that included removing the existing roofing to expose substrate, correcting drainage deficiencies, installing new roof system and increased thermal insulation (R-9). The membrane for low-slope roofs was cold-applied modified bitumen. Construction administration services was provided during construction.

Interactive Resources, Inc. previously completed a roof replacement for the Davidson Middle School Administration Building.
