Interactive Resources was retained by SunLink to provide structural engineering services for the 270 kW ground-mount solar farm at the Kamehameha Schools, near Hilo in Keaau, Hawaii. The Kamehameha Schools was founded in 1887 by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great. The array includes 900 solar panels. The solar farm is located at 16-714 Volcano Road on the school campus.
Structural services included the review of SunLink ground-mounted array wind load report, and to prepare a review cover letter. In addition, a review of the SunLink Array layout plans and details sheets for the ballast/anchorage locations was also provided.
