This project entails the design of new interior office improvements for an existing one-story commercial building, which formerly housed a charter school, with dramatically different programming needs.

Our scope of work includes architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical design services to renovate the building for use as offices, including a public lobby for union members, private offices, conference room, break room, and a union hall/large meeting room that will host gatherings and large meetings. Existing toilet rooms were modified to include new fixtures and to comply with current accessibility requirements. Construction Administration services were performed during construction.

Millwrights are specialized tradespeople who install, maintain, and repair machinery in factories, power plants, and construction sites. The Northern California Millrights Local 102 is a member of the Northern California Carpenters Regional Council, which represents 38,000 Northern California carpenters, millwrights, cabinet makers, drywallers, pile drivers and workers in associated trades.
