Interactive Resources was retained by SolarCraft the new roof- mounted solar arrays located at the Windsor High School’s Digital Communications Facility, located at 8695 Windsor Rd. in Windsor, CA.

Design services included: reviewing the available “as-built” drawings and working with SolarCraft to determine the most economical method of anchoring the array(s) to the existing structure and associated racking system. Sketches of proposed array anchorage and framing for review by District were provided, as well as one site visit during the preparation of the Construction Documents to verify the existing framing is in general conformance with the “as-built” drawings. We also provided one meeting to review and optimize the selected array support framing system with your staff and confirm layout complies with DSA IR 16-8.

In addition, Interactive Resources provided structural engineering services for the attachment/support of the array(s) to the existing roof structure and structural calculations. Construction documents for the anchorage of the inverter and associated equipment were prepared and structural package (Drawings and calculations) for submittal to DSA. The system has 93 SunTech 280 watt solar panels.
