Interactive Resources, Inc. is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Designer & Project Manager with approximately 5–10 years of professional architectural experience to join our Point Richmond office. Working under the supervision of a licensed architect, this position will manage projects, develop and coordinate construction documents, collaborate with consultants, contractors, and project teams, and provide construction administration services.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture not required but desirable
- Approximately 5–10 years of professional architectural experience
- Architectural licensure is not required; California licensure or active progress toward licensure is welcome
- Some project management experience is required
- Experience developing and coordinating architectural construction documents
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building systems, codes, and constructability
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project team members
- Experience with renovation, rehabilitation, institutional, or public-sector projects is highly valued
- Experience with building envelope, roofing, historic resources, campus environments, government, or university clients is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and project priorities
- A collaborative, detail-oriented approach to architectural practice
Tools and Technical Skills
- Revit proficiency is required, including the ability to develop and modify drawings, details, views, schedules, and construction document sets
- Strong understanding of architectural drawing standards and document organization
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred
- Experience with Deltek Ajera project management software is a plus
