As a member of the firm’s leadership team, Chris brings more than twenty-five years of experience in architecture, design, and project management across a diverse range of project types, including historic, civic, academic, commercial, and retail.
Chris’s work reflects a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, from early feasibility through all phases of design and construction. As a licensed architect with recognized expertise in historic preservation, he has contributed to numerous significant landmark projects throughout California. His approach is grounded in a respect for context, materiality, and the enduring value of civic and historic architecture, continuing a legacy that has been central to the firm since its founding.
A thoughtful and deliberate leader, Chris is committed to mentoring staff and strengthening the firm’s practice at every level. He brings a collaborative, integrated approach to design, guiding large multidisciplinary teams through technically complex projects with clarity and purpose. His work is informed by a strong sense of social responsibility and environmental stewardship, with an emphasis on sustainability, durability, and long-term performance.
